Hugo — Daytime Owls
A passionate canoe guide, Hugo takes you to read the water, observe the banks, and experience the river as a true escape into the outdoors.
Hugo is the kind of Captain who knows his river the way others know their garden. A canoe guide for quite some time now, he loves taking both young and old out on the water to share this living, ever-changing terrain—sometimes playful, always a world away.
Passionate about his river, he has this simple and precious desire: to show it to you in a different way. Following the current, you learn to read the water, to slow down, to observe the banks, to listen to all that lives around you. With Hugo, canoeing becomes far more than an activity: a true escape into the outdoors, feet almost in the water and mind already on holiday.
His playground
The river, of course. The one you descend by canoe, that you observe from the bank, that you learn to respect because it is at once a terrain for adventure, a corridor of biodiversity, and a place of life. Hugo also practices fly fishing, another way of taking his time, reading currents, and moving to the rhythm of nature. And in summer, his headquarters smells of late afternoons by the water: Le Canoë Guinguette, to extend the adventure in a friendlier version.
Canoeing
Paddle down the river, let the current carry you, learn to navigate, and enjoy the landscape from the water.
Living river
Observe the banks, read the currents, spot the birds, fish, and all the small creatures that live along the water's edge.
Riverside spirit
A love of sharing, evenings by the water's edge, and that simple atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer.
A paddle, a current, a river to love… and Hugo to lead the way.
