Michaël — Adventurous Macaque
Former firefighter turned outdoor educator, Mika shares the essentials: a fire that catches, shelter that holds, and a resilient mindset in the wild.
Mika, a former professional firefighter, is now an outdoor educator specializing in gentle survival skills, navigation, and self-sufficiency in the backcountry. Passionate about forest autonomy, physical and mental preparation, he loves getting a team moving and passing on what matters most: a fire that takes, shelter that endures, navigating by azimuth, and a rock-solid mindset.
A thoughtful, warm-hearted educator—a true macaque, those in the know will understand—and above all, a captain everyone adores. When he's off duty? He climbs rock faces, heads into the Alps, and traces winter routes across the high plateaus of the Vercors.
