Edith — Contemplative Chamois
With over 20 years of experience and an entire traverse of the Alpine arc behind her, Edith guides long-distance expeditions and winter adventures with precision and warmth.
For as long as she can remember, the sight of a mountain has always stirred in Edith the desire to explore it a little more closely: on foot, on skis, climbing, cycling... in short, whenever there's a ridge, a pass, or a valley to discover, she's never far away.
What truly drives her? Uncovering the animal, plant, and mineral worlds hidden behind the mountains. This hunger for exploration led her to trek trails across the globe and to traverse the entire Alpine arc some twenty years ago. Suffice it to say, Edith has walked many miles and gathered countless mountain stories along the way.
But adventure, for her, begins long before departure: diving into maps, crafting itineraries, fine-tuning logistics, anticipating the details that make all the difference in the field. For more than 20 years, she has shared this passion for mountains and travel with expertise, precision, and genuine care.
Her playground
Long-distance traverses, wild atmospheres, maps spread across the table, and departures that taste of adventure. Edith loves expeditions where you take time to read the terrain, understand the weather, set up camp, and feel the group moving forward as one. And in the Vercors, she has an unabashed fondness for the High Plateaus: vast, demanding, hushed... the kind of place that makes you want to return before you've even left.
Winter expeditions
