Okwari Fortin — Spirited Bear
Raised on a farm, trained by a horse breaker, Okwari guides in the Cévennes and divides his time between hiking, chestnut production, and flamenco guitar.
Okwari grew up surrounded by farm animals, hands in the soil tending his vegetable garden. At 15, he left to train with a horse breaker.
His passion for teaching and desire to share his love of nature led him to pursue nature interpretation and formal training in environmental education and guiding for hiking and cycling.
Today, he has chosen to settle in the Cévennes, at the foot of the Aigoual massif. He divides his time between his work as a guide, his agricultural business as a chestnut producer, and his guitar—with a flamenco flair!
