Highlights
Day-by-day itinerary

First night of stargazing in the Jura
6 PM – Bellegarde-sur-Valserine Station: reunion with Captains Rémi and Stephen, then transfer to the base camp.
Discovery of the yurt, the weekend's gathering point. After setting up the tents, meet in the large yurt for a friendly dinner. Tonight, it's potluck style: everyone brings a local specialty to share with the group.
After the meal, introduction to astronomy with Stephen. Observation of the starry sky and, weather permitting, Saturn's rings through the telescope. A surprise can happen at any time and make this first night under the stars memorable.
In case of bad weather, alternatives are planned: documentaries, illustrated discussions with photos and astronomy games. Whatever the situation, the experience remains enriching and feeds your fascination with the sky.

Hiking and stargazing evening
We set off for a beautiful hike through the valleys and forests of the Jura. Along the way, we observe the wildlife and flora, we take time to marvel, then a friendly picnic break before heading back to camp at the end of the day.
In the evening, it's time for accessible and lively astronomy discussions. If conditions permit, we observe the Sun through a telescope with a special filter.
At golden hour, it's Jurassian fondue at sunset (a real treat), followed by another telescope observation session.
During the night, Stephen may wake us up to enjoy a passage of the space station or a beautiful crescent Moon. And if you prefer to continue your night's sleep, no problem: we sleep peacefully, cradled by nature.
Activity: 8 to 10 km, approximately 4 to 5 hours of hiking, 500m elevation gain

Half-day on the plateau
We're heading off for a half-day hike on the heights of the Jura plateau, surrounded by flowers and peaceful cows, with a wide panorama over the high Combes.
Along the way, we'll enjoy a well-deserved picnic break. Back at camp, it's already time to take down the tents and prepare our bags for departure — time flies when you're having fun.
End of the adventure at 5pm, with wonderful memories of this break in the heart of the Jura nature.
Activity: 5 to 6 km, or 3h30 of hiking, 250m elevation gain
