Panoramic hike and first night under the stars
In early afternoon, you set off on a beautiful panoramic hike with the legendary Pic du Midi de Bigorre in your sights. The trail gradually leads you to a carefully chosen clearing, where we will set up our bivouac for the night.
Once camp is established, it's time for the evening outdoors. After some shared grilled food in a friendly atmosphere, your guide invites you to look up at the sky. As night falls, depending on conditions and the group's wishes, there will be a short night walk or a first observation of the sky using several instruments. A wonderful introduction, between mountains, silence and first stars.
Elevation gain 200 m / Elevation loss 600 m — approximately 4 hours of hiking

Sunrise, hiking and new starry evening
For those with the energy, the day can start early, with the possibility of admiring the sunrise from one of the beautiful viewpoints surrounding the bivouac. A suspended moment, to watch the mountain slowly awaken.
Back at camp, breakfast is taken facing the peaks. Then comes the time to dismantle the bivouac, reorganize the backpacks and check that we leave no trace of our passage. Once ready, we set off for a new day of hiking, between mountain trails, vast landscapes and Pyrenean light.
Arrival at the lodge at the end of the day allows you to catch your breath, enjoy a well-deserved shower and savor the meal prepared by your hosts. But the adventure is not quite over: after dinner, a new night outing may be proposed to contemplate the starry mountain sky again, depending on each person's energy and desire.
Night outing adapted to the group's fitness level and conditions.
Elevation gain 500 m / Elevation loss 800 m — approximately 6 hours of hiking for the day

Head Still in the Stars
Upon waking, there's a good chance you'll still have stars in your eyes. After breakfast, it's time to leave the cottage and set off on one final hike.
This last outing takes us to a clear viewpoint, ideal for extending the experience with solar observation if conditions permit. One final moment between sky and mountain, to close this astro stay beautifully, with a bit more light, altitude and contemplation.
Hiking and observation: 5 km — D+/- 400 m — approximately 3 hours
